McAlpine Dance

We follow the Royal Academy of Dance method of training for ballet, regularly entering our students for exam sessions throughout the year.

Start To Dance

A fun class incorporating dance movement and nursery rhymes for children aged 2- 4 which parent and child enjoy together.

Pre Primary In Dance

This is appropriate for the 4 to 5 years.

Primary In Dance

This is appropriate for the 5 – 6 years

Stage

Our Stage Junior and Stage level 1 classes introduce our young students to the world of Musical Theatre. Children have fun singing, acting and dancing!

Stage level 2: This class begins with Tap, followed by Jazz/Modern Theatre dance. McAlpine Dance follows the ISTD method of teaching and students are entered for exams when they reach the level required. The class is fun – giving students the sense of “Musical theatre”!

Silver Swans

Silver Swans  – this class is perfect for regaining confidence and love of dance as well as gaining strength and suppleness. Louisa is a Silver Swans licensed teacher through the RAD.

Adult Ballet

A class geared for people with a basic knowledge of Ballet. If you want to rekindle your love of dance, this is the class for you!

Adult Ballet online

Adult Tap

A great way to keep the body and mind lively! This class is welcome to all – beginners and improvers enjoy a warm up and often a dance routine each week.

Tap/Jazz

Designed for older students (ages 14 through to adults), this energetic class combines the rhythm and precision of Tap with the creativity and expression of Modern Theatre
Dance. Full of fun and variety, each session captures the excitement and style of Musical Theatre, helping students build confidence, technique, and performance skills.
