Exam Success 


Congratulations to all those who took their ISTD Tap and Modern Theatre exams in
October. Everyone did really well!

 

Congratulations also go to Jacqueline's students who took their Spanish Dance Society exams. All of them passed with flying colours!

 

Students who wish to be entered for RAD ballet exams in March MUST contact Phyllida before the new term by email or telephone (info@mcalpinedance.com  or 020 86734992).

Easter course 2012: Tuesday 10th April - Saturday 14th April.


We are very pleased to be holding another 5 day course for children and students in the
Easter holidays. For those of you who have not experienced this popular activity, we would
like to invite your children (7years minimum age) for 5 days of dance with guest teachers
(and our own) who will teach and choreograph work to be performed at the end of the
course.


“Curtain up on Coppelia”:   Saturday 3rd November 2012

 

McAlpine Dance Studio will be giving a matinee and evening performance at
The Michael Croft Theatre in Alleyn’s School, Dulwich. This is our bi-ennial show and we
will be rehearsing throughout next year with some all day rehearsals in 1/2 term (Saturday
27th October - Thursday 1st November). Friday 2nd November will be an all day rehearsal
at the theatre.

Timetable changes

There are two changes to classes on Tuesdays next term:

Intermediate Ballet    5.15 - 6.15 pm
NEW Pointe Work class    6.15 - 7.00 pm (Intermediate Foundations also welcome)
